Kind of at a loss for words right now. I don't even like basketball- I like football, American football, not that European stuff- but it is downright AWESOME that KU made it into the final four, and they're going to be playing the final tomorrow. And I'm going to a watch party in Lawrence with my little sister. It might actually be fun.

Couple parts of the area had a snow day this week. Hard to believe considering it's all sunny now. To be perfectly fair, I'm surprised there's only been one or two snow days this year. Talk about a mild winter.

Amusement parks after dark are freaky. I mean, I don't think it's necessarily a haunting or whatever. I think it's just the lack of people and noise. No wonder all those Goosebumps books took place in one. Kinda random thought, but I had to drive into KC tonight and I passed by Worlds of Fun which is obviously closed for the season and it kinda struck me. It'd be a pretty decent place to hide if there wasn't video surviellance and...well, locked gates.

You know it's Christmas time when there's blinding rain that causes several accidents on the roadways. Every year, people, it happens every year. You don't need to rush to get somewhere when the weather's crazy like it is, because you're not gonna get there any quicker.

Well, at least it ain't as bad as that ice storm ten years or so back. Seriously, that was killer.

Every state has stupid laws, but I think Kansas probably has the best. If two trains that meet on the same track, neither shall proceed until the other has passed.

...yeah, what were they thinking again? It's right up there with donkeys being unable to sleep in bathtubs and not being able to sell turtles on sundays. What the hell do any of these laws mean? At least I know why they covered it in Civics class anyway...

I just heard that the McRib is back. 'Heard' of course refers to 'one of the girls who does the late night radio weekend shift with me brought it in for dinner today.' Whatever, I ain't complaining. Makes a nice change from the McChicken all the time.

So I had the first radio show this weekend just gone. It went fairly well, except for the parts where I kept getting a prank caller. I have a distinct feeling I know who she is. Partly because she was using my cell phone, and partly because she doesn't know how to express her jealousy productively. Either that or she's pissed that her football team's lost several games in a row. Kansas City Chiefs? More like, Kansas City Losers. Go Ravens, baby. Go Ravens.

Oh, and in other news, I finally managed to walk completely through a wall without getting stuck halfway. Hallelujah.

I think some kids at school were talking about me today. Not directly, obviously, but it was clearly me. If we keep this up, we're going to have to be more subtle in the hero stuff, Danny. Even my parents are starting to wonder what's going on with me. You can tell them, I told mine- You didn't tell them. They found out. Big difference.

Sooo...that radio thing for the district is a go. I'm hoping I'll get one of the late night weekend spots- you have to be eighteen or a senior to get it, and I fit one of those categories! If I do get picked, I think I'm going to choose a sort of themed name. Dunno what it is yet, though, but I do know one thing: If anyone requests a certain musician, I won't play him.

Also, season one of Danny's show is coming out on DVD soon. Yay?

I can't believe I did that. Hey, you helped that girl, she could have been seriously hurt. It's not a bad thing! I know, but what if this gets on the news? Who said that's bad? Me! I want to have a life, okay?

Our school district is setting up a radio station or at least considering it. In all honesty, this is the first time I've actually considered an after school activity worth attending. That is if they do it. There's something about the funding and props being a damper on it. Fingers crossed it works out, we really need a different radio station around here. All they play is...I don't know, country. Why is that so popular...oh, it's the midwest. I should have known.

My sister set me up with one of her friends this weekend.

I...don't think it's gonna go well. I'm a terrible conversationist, my sister's friends are weird, and I've developed the new annoying tendency to go through tables when I'm nervous. Sigh.
